The Candle Sauce Festival is back!
The unique neighbourhood festival that brings together lovers of traditional Czech cuisine is entering its 7th year!
Come to our restaurant on 11 October 2025 to taste and evaluate the best recipes for sirloin sauce from talented amateur and professional chefs.
An afternoon full of flavours, friendly competitive atmosphere and culinary prestige awaits you.
This year, the jury will include a well-known personality of Czech gastronomy. We are honoured and delighted to announce that the jury of the 7th edition of the Festival of Sirloin Sauce will include a renowned chef - a master in his field - Marek Fichtner @marekfichtner 👨🍳
He will be joined on the jury by the chef of Panská Zahrada Honza Vácha, the operator of the chateau beer hall U Věže Jirka Tomšů and a well-known figure of the local theatre and gastronomy scene Jirka Šafránek.
Who will cook the BEST sirloin sauce of 2025? Co-decide the winner of the 7th edition.

Come taste, compare and decide!
Up to 12 different versions of sirloin sauce await you on site - each different, each honest.
Your vote will decide the winner together with an expert jury, which will include a well-known face of Czech gastronomy.

Enter the competition and show what you've got - no matter if you're a home cook or a professional chef.
Our festival is for everyone who loves sirloin sauce and is not afraid to show their recipe to the world.
To register for the competition, all you need is a desire to cook, courage and a love of sirloin!
