Tomáš Bím is appreciated all over the world.
In his work he focuses on magical realism (Prof. F. Dvořák), his inspiration is the American Precessionists. He has participated in hundreds of exhibitions at home and abroad, illustrated many books and magazines. Thanks to the creation of posters and small prints, he is also known to the general public. His works are represented in galleries, museums and private collections around the world.
Born on 12 November 1946 in Prague, he currently lives and works in Lety near Prague and in Prague - Hostivař. More about the author and his work can be found in the publications INVENTURA I and INVENTURA II, RETROSPECTIVE and BÍM 70 - THE OVERVIEW.
He graduated from the Vocational Polygraphic Apprenticeship in Printing and received a scholarship from the Kunstverein Osnabrück e.V. in Germany in 1983. He studied in England, France, Holland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Thailand, USA, etc. He is a member of the SČVU HOLLAR.
