They are protected as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kulturn%C3%AD_pam%C3%A1tka_(%C4%8Cesko)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">cultural monument of the Czech Republic<\/a>.  Kon\u011bprus caves are the longest\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jeskyn%C4%9B\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Cave<\/a>\u00a0system in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C4%8Cechy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bohemia<\/a>. It is an extensive three-storey cave system built in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Devon_(geologie)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Devonian<\/a>\u00a0limestone with a height difference between the individual floors of about 70 m. The smallest in area is the upper floor and the largest is the middle floor. The lower, inaccessible floor lies at a depth of about 70 m below the surface and has the character of a corridor system. It has been formed by rainwater, which penetrates it through chimneys and fissures and gradually dissolves\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/V%C3%A1penec\">limestone<\/a>\u00a0rock, giving rise to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kras\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">karst<\/a>\u00a0and karst phenomena. A special feature here are the so-called.\u00a0<strong>Horseradish Roses<\/strong>that contain\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Op%C3%A1l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Opal<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>are located inside the Zlat\u00fd k\u016f\u0148 hill above the village of Kon\u011bprusy in the Bohemian Karst Protected Landscape Area about 5 km south of the town of Beroun and about 4 km southeast of the town of Kr\u00e1l\u016fv Dv\u016fr.
