Dear guests, our hotel is located approx. one hundred metres from the Berounka River, at the Dobřichovice weir, where you can also swim on the opposite bank in summer. An asphalt road leads directly past the hotel cycle path (also suitable for inline skates) along the river towards Karlstejn, which is 9 km away. You can continue to BerounNizbor. On the other side you can drive through Černošice to Prague. Of course, we will store your bikes in the bike shop free of charge, or you can rent electric bikes directly on our premises in the rental shop Colomotive (bikes should be ordered in advance).

For a short walk you can go to the neighbouring Karlík along the Marble Route past the sculptures created during the sculpture symposiums, turn right under the Krásná stráň and return to Dobřichovice along the parallel avenue. Or continue through the Karlický valley to the remains of the Karlík castle.

If you don't want to go far, it is possible to play on the hotel playground petanque, Cricket, or table tennis. For our youngest guests there is a park with mature trees directly behind the hotel. children's playground.

For evening entertainment you can use the nearby Bowling Všenory.

Medieval Karlstejn Castle

was founded in 1348 and occupies a unique position among Czech castles. It was built by the Czech king and Roman emperor Charles IV as a place for storing royal treasures, especially collections of holy relics and imperial crown jewels.

Great America

Czech Grand Canyon - is a limestone flooded quarry. At its bottom there are two interconnected lakes with clear water, which attract swimming especially in summer. Officially, however, it is forbidden to enter the quarry. You can safely view the quarry from the viewpoint right next to the car park or from the paths leading around the Great America. There are other quarries within walking distance - e.g. Mexico, Canada, Little America. It is located in close proximity to the road leading from the village of Mořina (direction from Karlštejn) to the village of Kozolupy (direction Loděnice - Prague).

Hvíždinec viewpoint

Hvíždinec viewpoint

Near the top of Hvíždinec near Dobřichovice there is a viewpoint with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The viewpoint is located on a rock made of Drabov quartzite at an altitude of 476m above sea level.

St. John under the Rock

The complex of the former Benedictine monastery is situated in the centre of the village of the same name in the valley of the Loděnice river, approximately 5 km east of Beroun. It is situated in a picturesque position under the high St. John's Rock Wall among the wooded slopes of the valley. At the heart of the area is the St. Ivan's Cave excavated in a travertine rock massif, under which a strong spring of healing water springs up. The cave is connected to the rock church of the Virgin Mary and the rock crypt of the monastery. The Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist with its bell tower is adjacent to the cave complex.

Koněprus Caves

Koněprus Caves

are located inside the hills Golden Horse above the village Horses v Czech Karst Protected Landscape Area about 5 km south of the town Beroun and about 4 km southeast of the town King's Court. They are protected as cultural monument of the Czech Republic. Koněprus caves are the longest Cave system in Bohemia. It is an extensive three-storey cave system built in Devonian limestone with a height difference between the individual floors of about 70 m. The smallest in area is the upper floor and the largest is the middle floor. The lower, inaccessible floor lies at a depth of about 70 m below the surface and has the character of a corridor system. It has been formed by rainwater, which penetrates it through chimneys and fissures and gradually dissolves limestone rock, giving rise to karst and karst phenomena. A special feature here are the so-called. Horseradish Rosesthat contain Opal.

Koda National Nature Reserve

NPR Koda was declared in 1952 on an area of 463.64 ha. It is one of the oldest protected areas in the Bohemian Karst Protected Landscape Area. It is a rugged and mostly wooded area south and west of the Berounka River between Tetín, Tobolka and Srbsko.

Karst landscape with its deep ravines is one of the most important nature reserves in the Protected Landscape Area Bohemian Karst. In many places of the reserve you can admire karst phenomena or massive layers of calcareous depositsthat she uncovered erosion on gully wallsexcavated by fast-flowing streams.

Chrust shaft

Chrustenická shaft is an exposition of mining technology. The mine was one of the largest and most important mines in Barrandien (west of Prague) in its time. It had 84 underground floors extending to a depth of 426 m, i.e. 120 m below sea level. During a hundred years of hard work, it produced nearly 8 million tonnes of ore.

There's roughly 600 metres of accessible corridors of the former 8th floor of the mine with nearly a kilometre of tracks with a mining gauge of 450 mm and several hundred exhibits, from the smallest type of thresher and handcuffsas a miner's emblem, to very large collections of drills and drills, electric, carbide and petrol mine lamps, signalling devices, and a number of photographs from the operation of the local mine, mechanisation aids and equipment.

A separate chapter is fleet, including mining locomotives of various traction, a large number of freight wagons (hunts) from various periods for transporting extracted materialcars for passenger transport and other vehicles for special activities in the mine. The exposition will introduce the layman to the actual methods of mining and transporting ores, from primitive manual to modern mechanized ones.
